Since launching his Taylor Swift tribute show in 2023, Jimmy Moore says his career has dramatically shifted. Speaking with Le Quotidien, the drag performer notes that not everyone can afford to spend a fortune to see Swift live, and his production offers a way for fans to experience that world closer to home. He is set to deliver the 33rd performance of the show, and while the run has already surpassed his expectations, his ambitions have grown, he hopes to reach 500 performances and dreams of taking the show to Las Vegas.

A performer for more than 25 years, originally from Howick in Quebec’s Montérégie region, Moore has impersonated major pop icons including Madonna (since 1998), Céline Dion, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Shania Twain and Lady Gaga. He describes a meticulous process of studying movement and stage presence. Backed by five dancers, wearing custom costumes designed by Luc Couture, and changing outfits around 30 times, he lip-syncs the hits and on-stage moments to create the illusion.
